Transmitter Battery Change Date

It's difficult to remember all the things you need to do at different intervals, especially when you're managing multiple birds all with different equipment. You can now keep track of the date you need to change your bird's transmitter battery in Falconry Journal and receive helpful updates when the date is approaching.

Here's a quick tutorial about how to do that:

• Navigate to the bird you want to set a transmitter battery change date for
• Tap on the pencil icon on the top right of the screen
• Tap on the 'Tel. Battery Change Date' field
• Add a date
• Tap save

When the date is 5 days out, or it has passed, there will be a blue notification band on your bird's home screen telling you when the date is or was. This will help you remember to change your transmitter battery on time. You can tap on the blue band to quickly update the date once you've changed the battery.
