Calculating Food by Weight in Falconry Journal

You can now quickly calculate food by weighing your bird before and after being fed in Falconry Journal. This is a quick and accurate way to calculate a feeding without weighing the food directly. This could be particularly useful if you are cropping your bird up on more than they will eat in a single sitting, or on food with inedible bones.

To use this feature, follow this quick guide:

• Navigate the the bird you want to feed
• Tap on the 'Add Metric' button on the bottom right of the screen
• Select 'Food by Weight'
• Enter the weight of your bird before feeding
• Tap save and feed your bird
• Navigate back to the bird and tap 'Set after feeding weight'
• Weigh your bird and enter it in the 'After Feeding' field
• Tap 'make food record'

When you're done you'll see Falconry Journal has logged the before feeding weight, the food record and the after feeding weight record.
